I see you
I believe you.
I believe you, not him.
You do not have to protect him.
You do not have to protect his name.
Women and everyone around them tend to disbelieve and minimize their experience of sexual violence.
People blame you. You blame yourself.
We hereby reassign responsibility. We will no longer take responsibility for man's bad behavior.
I am here to respect you, honor your story and hold space for your pain. I see you in your anguish and despair. I am here to lift you.
I am here to hold a Sacred Space in which you are safe and free to publish your pain whether it be rape, incest, molestation, being the object of frottage or scopophilia... everything including inappropriate sexual talk or being sexually harassed at a nightclub.
You do not have to protect the man who VIOLATED you.
And when you say his name...
I EXALT You!

When I was 12 I was attacked by Jeff Arthur, Rick Crane and Scott Kimble in a park in my neighborhood. Scott Kimble raped me. I was 12. He was 15/16. Before raping me, he took me to the neighborhood pedophile Gene Orr, who drugged and molested me.
None of them have been brought to Justice.
I am POWERFUL.
I have a right to speak out about THEIR shameful behavior.
I AM LOVE. I AM LIGHT. I AM POWERFUL.
I am the LIGHT BEARER!
Love, Jane
